The science behind Constructive Coffee Farming©
The concept of Constructive Coffee Farming was born from practices developed over the years at Rio Brilhante Café and Farroupilha Café. Research carried out in partnership with the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) helped study, compare, and technically validate this model by analyzing native Cerrado Mineiro soils, traditional cultivation systems, and the management practices adopted on the farms.
These studies made it possible to understand, in practice, how the constructive model contributes to a more balanced, productive, and consistent system when compared to traditional production models.
